Benefits of Fenoxaprop P Ethyl 9.3% ec

  • #1 Phalaris minor killer: Most effective post-emergent solution for Gulli Danda / Mandusi in wheat  the most damaging grass weed in North Indian wheat fields
  • Selective action: Kills grass weeds only  completely safe on wheat, soybean, onion, mustard, and other broadleaf/cereal crops
  • Multi-crop use: One product covers wheat (rabi) + soybean, onion, pulses, DSR (kharif)  value across the year
  • Fast action: Grass weeds stop growing within 48 hours; visible yellowing in 5 to 7 days; complete kill in 10 to 14 days
  • Low dose, high efficacy: Only 400 ml per acre easy to carry, mix, and spray
  • Rain-fast in 1 hour: Once absorbed, rain does not wash off the herbicide
  • Trusted alternative to Whip Super: Same active ingredient at better farmer value

How Does ZIP SUPER Work?

Fenoxaprop-P-Ethyl is a systemic ACCase inhibitor (HRAC Group A):

  • Foliar absorption: Enters grass weeds through leaves within 1 to 2 hours of spray
  • Phloem translocation: Moves to growing points and meristems
  • Blocks ACCase enzyme: Stops fatty acid synthesis — essential for new cell membrane formation in grasses
  • Grass weed dies: Growth stops in 48 hours, full kill in 10 to 14 days. Broadleaf crops naturally tolerate this enzyme inhibition
Fenoxaprop vs Clodinafop vs Sulfosulfuron in Wheat? Fenoxaprop (ZIP SUPER) is the most widely used and proven Phalaris killer  works in 2 to 4 leaf weed stage. Clodinafop works similarly but resistance is reported in Punjab/Haryana. Sulfosulfuron is for late-stage weeds and broader weed mix. For first-line Phalaris control: use ZIP SUPER. For broadleaf weeds in wheat, tank-mix with 2,4-D Amine Salt after 7-day gap.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What is Fenoxaprop-P-Ethyl 9.3% EC used for? ZIP SUPER (Fenoxaprop-P-Ethyl 9.3% EC) is a selective post-emergent grass herbicide. It controls Phalaris minor (Gulli Danda/Mandusi) in wheat and other grass weeds in soybean, onion, mustard, pulses, and direct-seeded rice without harming the main crop.
Q. What is the dose of Fenoxaprop per acre in wheat? The recommended dose is 400 ml per acre dissolved in 150 to 200 litres of water. Per hectare: 1000 ml (1 litre). Spray at 30 to 35 days after sowing (DAS), when Phalaris weeds are at 2 to 4 leaf stage.
Q. How much ZIP SUPER per 15 litre pump? Mix 50 to 60 ml of ZIP SUPER per 15 litre knapsack pump. One acre needs approximately 7 to 8 pumps with full water.
Q. When is the best time to spray Fenoxaprop in wheat? Spray at 30 to 35 days after sowing (DAS), when Phalaris minor is at the 2 to 4 leaf stage. Do not wait until weeds are flowering — late spray loses 30 to 50% efficacy.
Q. Is ZIP SUPER safe for wheat and soybean? Yes. Fenoxaprop-P-Ethyl is selective — it kills only grass weeds and does not harm wheat, soybean, onion, mustard, pulses, or other broadleaf/cereal crops when applied at recommended dose.
Q. Will it control Phalaris minor (Gulli Danda) in wheat? Yes. Fenoxaprop-P-Ethyl is the #1 chemical solution for Phalaris minor in Indian wheat. Spray at 30 to 35 DAS, when weeds are at 2 to 4 leaf stage, with full water coverage for best results.
Q. Can I tank-mix ZIP SUPER with 2,4-D for broadleaf weeds? No, do not tank-mix. Fenoxaprop and 2,4-D are antagonistic — mixing them in the same tank reduces both products' performance. Spray ZIP SUPER first, then 2,4-D after a 7-day gap for combined grass + broadleaf control.
Q. ZIP SUPER vs Whip Super  what is the difference? Both contain the same active ingredient: Fenoxaprop-P-Ethyl 9.3% EC. Whip Super (Bayer) is the original brand. Krishikranti ZIP SUPER offers the same molecule, same efficacy, same dose at better farmer value.
Q. Is it rain-fast? Yes. ZIP SUPER is rain-fast within 1 hour after spray. Once absorbed into the weed, rain does not wash it off.

A Dark Fantasy that hooks you from the start!
Format: Kindle
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️ Right from the prologue, I was hooked. Ella wastes no time diving into an intense scene, but definitely be sure to read the trigger warnings! I was immediately drawn into this dark fantasy world, and even more so by the slow-burn tension, witty banter, and the strong sense of family that forms throughout the story. What I really loved is that Darius, the Queen’s illegitimate son and captain of the guard, is the main focus of the book. Broken and struggling to navigate the prejudices against him, Darius is caught between playing the political games and wanting to be accepted. He’s also investigating a growing threat: demons, who have always been a manageable evil, are suddenly multiplying and attacking in larger groups. His focus shifts when Lena, a mysterious foreigner with an aura that can’t be ignored, arrives on the scene. She’s not quite human—something other—and I found myself just as captivated as Darius, trying to uncover who she is and what role she has in his life. The tension and spice had me reading into the late hours of the night - romantasy readers are going to devour this book! This book also does an excellent job of challenging stereotypes, labels, and unconscious bias. I love how Ella seamlessly weaves these complex themes into the plot, and how the characters navigate them in ways that feel authentic and thought-provoking. 🎧 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Another highlight was the narration by Laura Horowitz! She does an amazing job bringing the characters to life with different accents and voices, capturing Amara’s sassiness and Lena’s mysterious nature perfectly. It took me a little while to adjust to Darius' narration, though—it wasn’t quite what I had imagined for him or other male characters. But once I sped it up to 2.0, it felt much better. As for Kace and Griffin, I still struggled a bit with their voices, especially Kace, whose tone came off more like a silly jester than the commanding yet light-hearted character I envisioned.

My current fave! Total must-read!
Format: Kindle
To Bleed a Kingdom" is an absolute rollercoaster of a read that I couldn't put down! From the get-go, Dawes throws you into the thick of it with a horrific scene that sets the stage of Seboia. It will leave you in shock. Major trigger there, but honestly, I will say it was done so tastefully I really appreciated having it on the offset! Then we meet the brooding, forgotten Captain Darius. He’s a mountain of a man, terrifying, but has an absolute heart of gold. He’s fighting to protect his Kingdom in the midst of immense chaos from the terrifying Soulless. And then there's Lena, a fierce and intelligent leader who swoops in and turns Darius's world upside down. Their attraction to one another is seriously unwanted, particularly with all that’s going down. But it’s absolutely intoxicating and I can not get enough of it! But it's not just about the romance – oh no! Dawes is a master story teller, weaving in elements of suspense, mystery, a world of gods and fiendish supernatural creatures, and that much needed banter in a story like this. Lena and her gang of misfits are a riot, reminding me of the antics I used to get up to with my own sister. And let's talk about Darius's backstory – it's totally gut-wrenching, and so you’re instantly in love. I mean, who doesn't love a brooding, tortured hero? But the real star of the show here is the world-building. Dawes has created a rich and intricate universe filled with gods, fae, and supernatural creatures that all weaves in perfectly. The way she integrates gems and their significance is genius, adding a whole new layer to the story. If you're a fan of epic dark fantasy with a paranormal twist, this is the book for you. And don't even get me started on that cliffhanger – I'm already counting down the days until book two hits the shelves! Definite must-read.

Why can't they just TALK to each other?!
Format: Kindle
The prologue to this book was bloody and violent. I actually started this book then put it away for several months as I found it not enjoyable. When I finally returned to the book, I pretty much skipped the prologue and went right in. There are a lot of holes in this story, a lot of repetitive sections, and several parts (mostly the whole book) where you just want the lead characters to talk to each other instead of being petty and jealous. Who the female lead is, is never really explained. The humans are considered weak, but the human kingdom is the one they fear, just really weird. I did finish the book and it was overall a good book, and I may actually read the second book to see if any questions are answered and holes in the story filled in. Don't take that as an endorsement, if it was a really good book I would be reluctant to read more as I wouldn't want the story ruined, but just being so-so, there is nothing to ruin and maybe the next will be better. If you're on the fence stay there until you run out of better options, then give it a go.

A Stellar Dark Romantasy Debut
Format: Kindle
4.5 ⭐️ Yet another stellar debut from a promising new indie author! This dark fantasy romance was a fast-paced, thrilling ride, brimming with high stakes action and slow burn romance. The story was refreshing and original, and I can’t wait to see what this author comes up with next. There was just enough world building to keep the story interesting, without overtaking the entire story. And I was fully invested in these characters, both the major players and the supporting cast. I loved the sprinkling of humor and playful banter between the whole ensemble. Even though the book encompasses some darker themes, these moments of levity created a beautiful balance within the story. I enjoyed the dynamic between Lena and Darius- there was a bit of an Insta-love situation, which can be tough trope for me to swallow. But they had some beautiful chemistry and banter, so it ended up all working for me. Still a lot of answers are left to be uncovered regarding Lena, which I’m sure will be addressed in the next book. Looking forward to seeing where everything goes, especially after the cliffhanger ending. 💀 All in all, an absolutely solid debut, and I am fully invested in this story. This author is definitely gonna make her mark in this genre. ✨Morally grey MMC ✨Strong FMC ✨Banter and humor ✨Touch her and 💀 ✨Found family ✨Shifters & fae ✨Unique magic system ✨Dual POV 🌶️Slow burn that leads to spice (1.5)

Great Start to a new Series
Format: Kindle
I whipped right through book #1, and definitely finished the book eager for more. The main and supporting characters are all intriguing and well fleshed out. The humor, romance and action are all really well balanced. The one challenge I did feel the middle dragged a bit, a little repetitive with lots of wanting and talking about things but nothing happened until the end basically, but either way, I really enjoyed it!
