As both an OT and an African woman, Busi knows the comfort and support of a torso carry is unmatched. It is from this knowledge that she designed our carriers with a truly unique feature, a third point of support that offloads the weight from your shoulders into your hips, creating a carrier with unrivaled support and comfort. Especially supportive for children with low trunk muscle tone, keeping them in a neutral position.

Our Unique Waistband Design

Our waistband is designed to provide maximum support to your body, with specific features for postpartum bodies. With our dual-foam design, our carriers are ideal for pelvic health and caesarian section recovery. Strong foam sides to provide support and stability to your core, and soft foam front to cushion and protect your healing pelvic area. Tied together with our taller sizing, Babuebaby carriers have a waistband design that is second to none.

Adaptive Headrest Design

As an OT, Busi is very passionate about providing support for disabled children and wearers alike. From that passion came our headrest, which is designed to accommodate involuntary head movements and low muscle tone. When those features aren’t needed, it easily folds down to fit your baby snugly.

Made to Last

Our carriers will last from the newborn stage into toddlerhood, with a weight range from 8-45 lbs. Safety is our top priority, so we work with babywearing educators to ensure that when we say newborn-appropriate, we mean it. 

Our panels are fitted with 2 sets of adjusters, allowing newborns to be carried without compromising safety. Our Patented Torso Support Strap adds another layer of safety, ensuring that your newborn’s spine remains supported properly.

Due to our extremely supportive design, even as your child grows heavier, their weight will remain comfortable to wear.
