Philodendron Green Congo

A cultivated hybrid that plays a fundamentally different game than most of its philodendron relatives — rather than climbing, trailing, or vining, the Green Congo is a self-heading variety that builds itself upright and outward from a central stem, producing tightly stacked, broadly paddle-shaped, deeply glossy dark green leaves with a leathery, almost lacquered texture that catches light richly from across a room. New leaves unfurl in a brighter, fresher green before deepening to the characteristic rich emerald of mature foliage. The petioles are stout and closely spaced along a sturdy central stem that thickens with age, creating a full, sculptural form that functions as an architectural anchor plant rather than a display piece that needs support — no moss pole, no trellis, no training required. It is not native to any Congo; the name is simply a trade designation applied to this group of self-heading erubescens-lineage hybrids.

This cultivar maintains its upright self-heading form without any support and suits floor-level display in a wide pot that accommodates its outward-spreading root system and ultimately 2-3 foot spread. Provide medium to bright indirect light — it tolerates lower light better than most variegated philodendrons given its fully green foliage, but brighter conditions produce faster growth and larger, more intensely colored leaves. Water when the top 1-2" of medium is dry, allowing full drainage and never letting roots sit in standing water; use a chunky, well-draining aroid mix of orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir. Moderate humidity of 40-60% is adequate for healthy growth, making it one of the more humidity-forgiving philodendrons. Maintain warm temperatures between 65-85°F away from cold drafts. Toxic to humans and pets if ingested.

It seems to work well
Size: 3.38 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Smells like coffee as others have vlogged it should. I wanted raw cold-pressed. That’s description on Amazon. It’s not on jar so we’ll see.

Loved this
Size: 4 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
This product here is great. It's very thick. It has a nice like soft crumbly texture. It's very shiny. The bottle was OK for what you ordered, but the product itself works great my sister has alopecia and I've used it consistently and saw results so this product is definitely about consistency. The more you use it the more results you see it does smell like a strong coffee so I don't know if you wanna walk around with this without your day. It does smell like coffee, but it is great so I suggest personally use the product. Let it sit on your hair if you're not going anywhere for the day leave it but if you're going somewhere wash it out use it as a treatment.

100% Legit
Size: 4 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Hopefully I can upload the videos I took as I was unboxing, but I gave this product 5 stars because I indeed received real Batana oil. I also received the full jar’s worth of the oil. There were no air pockets at all. The color, consistency, and smell were accurate to the known characteristics of Batana. It is still cold where I am so it was in a solidified state when it arrived, however it was more pliable after some time in my home. It doesn’t take much heat to get it to melt either. I know many people who are looking to purchase on Amazon are trying to sift through the fakers, I want you to rest assured that this brand is legit. I can’t speak to the effectiveness on my hair ‘s condition as of yet but I did want to let it be known that this company is selling the real stuff.
