At Foundroot we don't use a lot of hand tools but a good sturdy trowel is always in order. This mid-size Forged Trowel is made for constant daily use and several lifetimes of service. Designed for heavy duty planting and weeding at 3" wide, it can easily stand up to the demands of northern gardens. Hand-forged solid steel blades attach to sturdy 3/8" rods for extra durability. The solid hickory handle is gently tapered handle, making it a comfortable fit for small and large hands alike.

Seth's tools are made of hand-forged steel with solid USA made hickory wood handles and built to last a lifetime with proper care. They are easily sharpened by hand using a file and have been tested by real world use for many years by expert gardeners. 

Handmade tools have more weight to them than you may be accustomed to which is what makes them so durable. They require care to maintain their lifespan and should be stored out of the elements and maintained regularly. We recommend using this oil and sharpener to keep them in good condition.
