But they obtain a maple syrup taste if you let them continue to ripen. They can be used as a sweetener in just about anything you can think of or just eat them as a hand fruit. The fruit will grow in various sizes from as small as a large egg to the size of a softball and will usually have 6 large flat seeds.

Plant comes in a standard 2x2x3.5inch nursery pot with a house made high-end soil blend of peat, worm castings, organic composted yard waste and perlite mixed with top grade local soil.
