Why Choose Big Jim Legacy Pepper Seeds?
These seeds are straight from New Mexico chile farmers, ensuring premium quality and authentic flavor. - Flavor & Heat: Medium heat with rich, smoky New Mexican chile flavor
- Growth: Produces abundant yields of large pods on tall plants
- Versatility: Ideal for roasting, stuffing, or drying for red chile sauce
- Authentic: Heirloom seed direct from New Mexico chile farmers
Growing Tips:
Start seeds indoors 8 weeks before warm weather. Plant in sterile media, cover 1/4" deep, and maintain 85°F soil temperature. Keep moist with bright light for best germination (7-21 days). Transplant when seedlings have 6 true leaves, spacing 30" apart in rich soil or 5-gallon containers. For even bigger harvests, pinch off early blooms to encourage more chile production later.
