Bulldog 505 is a semi-dormant variety that has a Fall Dormancy rating of 5. Bulldog 505 has a broad spectrum pest resistance. It has a high resistance to Fusarium Wilt, and is resistant to Phytophthora Root rot.
Bulldog 505 alfalfa is considered moderately winter hardy. As a semi-dormant variety with a Fall Dormancy rating of 5, it is specifically designed for the Southeast region (e.g., Georgia, Alabama), providing excellent winter survival in those areas while also offering high yields and grazing tolerance
Seeding Rates
When planting alfalfa alone, plant 25 lbs./acre. When planting with a grass mixture use 20 lbs./acre.
