Phyllis Thomson is a budding children's book author, lifelong learner, and lover of travel. Born in Newark, New Jersey, she grew up in France, spent years working in Washington DC, and currently lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Phyllis has worked as an organizational psychologist, applying her talents in many venues. Mother of Kate, and connected with many kids along life's way, her love of children has always been front and center. Her best advice to them is: always try something three times before you decide, and nature is the universe's greatest gift. Phyllis volunteers with several local nonprofits in the Twin Cities and replenishes her spirit in the peace and serenity of the Colorado mountains.

Robin Cain is a lifelong lover of art, music, and writing. After a primary career in music, performing, and teaching, she went back to her childhood love of drawing. A mutual friend introduced Robin to Phyllis and they found a shared love for Colorado and wildflowers, which led to their first collaboration, Lily Rose Leads the Flower Parade. Robin is currently working on a second illustrated children's book and looks forward to working with Phyllis again in the near future! Robin lives and works in the beautiful river town of Stillwater, Minnesota, with her husband, four sons, and their fur baby, Celty the dog.
