Our glue bands are the ideal solution for protecting your fruit trees from infestations of winter moths, ants and other crawling insects including adult vine weevil. These clear bands are made from a non-toxic, non-drying glue that creates a barrier to keep pests out.

To use, simply place the bands on the trunks and tree stakes of your fruit trees, around 45-60cm (18-24in) above soil level after removing any loose moss or bark. Cut a piece of band about 3cm longer than the circumference of the tree. Peel the backing paper off and wrap the band around the tree, then use a piece of string to tie the middle of the band. The extra 3cm of glue will hold the band in place.

For best results, use the glue bands from October until April to protect against winter moths and between May and August to prevent ant infestations. After 6 months, remove the bands and replace them with new ones.
