- The Nepenthes PROmix is a deluxe carnivorous plant soil blend that is very low in nutrients, taking the hassle out of repotting your favourite bug-munching plant
- We use only top quality ingredients to create the perfect growing media for growing a happy and healthy tropical pitcher plant
- The ratio of ingredients in this recipe has been designed to trap and retain moisture while providing sufficient drainage, ultimately creating a stable, friable growing media for your precious carnivorous plant
- Carnivorous plants have adapted to catch and digest their own food, none of our carnivorous plant Promixes contain any artificial or organic fertiliser
Uses
- Ideal for repotting and transplanting, this is the exact nutrient-free soil blend that we use as a growing substrate for all our monkey cups
Size & Packaging
- Premixed, packaged and sold in labeled, resealable packets
- As a guideline, one 650ml packet will be enough growing media to fill:
- 1 x standard 10cm plastic plant pot, plus a little extra should you need to 'top-up' at a later stage,
- 2 x 9cm plant pots,
- 3 x 7.5cm plant pots, and
- 7 x 5cm square pots
- All of our carnivorous plant soil mixes have been washed, but it is always recommended to rinse and sterilise all growing media prior to use
