Silver Splash Scindapsus Care Guide
- Care Level: Easy – great for beginners
- Light: Prefers bright to medium indirect light. Avoid direct sun, which can scorch leaves; too little light may fade the silver variegation.
- Water: Water thoroughly and allow the top 1–2 inches of soil to dry between waterings. Drooping leaves indicate it’s ready for a drink. Reduce watering in winter.
- Humidity: 40–60% relative humidity
- Temperature: 60–85°F; keep away from cold drafts
- Pruning: Trim dead or browning leaves as needed to maintain shape
- Feeding: Fertilize monthly during spring and summer with diluted water-soluble fertilizer
- Propagation: Easy to propagate from stem cuttings
- Growth Habit: Trails 3 ft or more—excellent for hanging baskets
- Pests: Generally resilient to pests
- Toxicity: Toxic to humans and pets if ingested
The Silver Splash Scindapsus adapts beautifully to a range of indoor conditions. It tolerates low to bright indirect light, thrives in well-draining soil, and prefers to dry out slightly between watering—making it a perfect, low-maintenance option for new plant parents and seasoned collectors alike.
