The clay material is porous and allows leaves to preform gas exchange even when well coated. Surround® also helps cool plants preventing sun damage and heat stress. Surround WP is applied as a slurry before insects are present. Use 1/4- 1/2 lb./gal. of water; 25-50 lb./100 gal./acre and reapplication is required every 7-21 days.
