I had very high hopes for this body wash. This brand is well known, and a brand that I have loved for a couple years now. Nearly every Pur A'dor product I have ever tried, I have loved. I did not, however, have any negative skin reactions to it, and it did leave my skin feeling adequately hydrated and soft. The scent though, is just not something I am able to enjoy at all. I have tried it several times, hoping the scent would grow on me, or somehow Improve, but it hasn't. At this point, I have put it to the side, and started using another product instead. I was thrilled to have caught a body wash by this brand on sale for $12, but I guess now I see why it was discounted so much. I'm not sure. This is not the norm for this brand at all. Hoping this is a one time fluke.

It made me realize my skin wasn’t as soft as I thought—because after using this, my skin felt noticeably softer, hydrated, and plump. It absorbs well and leaves my skin feeling nourished without being greasy. It does contain retinol, so the warnings about avoiding the eye area and limiting sun exposure are important. I’ll definitely be pairing this with a good hydrating sunscreen, especially during daytime use. I plan to ease into it by using it once or twice a week until my skin fully adjusts. Overall, I love everything about this serum—the packaging, the light scent, the texture, and the results. My skin feels smooth, hydrated, and healthy. This is definitely a product I’m excited to keep using and would happily recommend.
