Water well especially during dry seasons. Each clump  will reach heights of 1.4 m tall and 1.5 m wide.  It is propagated chiefly by division of the rhizome. Grows well in sand and chalk.

Your bamboo is a very low maintenance plant. You may want to prune it to keep it to the hight you like. Please note this plant can become invasive if not controlled.
