HumiMax 5L

Active ingredients: 100 % Natural, Pressure Extracted Leonardite - Including 20.5 % Humic acid & 4.5 % Fulvic acid.

HumiMax – A superior liquid humate, derived from a naturally occurring source that operates in a multi-functional manner; both in the soil and as a plant component, via a micronised formulation which retains all the beneficial natural properties.

Humimax is a highly efficient enhanced foliar absorption formulation, created specially for tank mixing. HumiMax has been formulated to stand out from the crowd in terms of key benefits and performance.

HumiMax Research Trials Have Demonstrated

✔   10 % increase in nitrogen use efficiency, when used with granule fertiliser - leading to reduced fertiliser application requirements.

✔   30 % increase in nitrogen use efficiency, when Humimax is used with foliar fertiliser - leading to reduced fertiliser application requirements.

Benefits of using HumiMax

  • Support the natural soil processes of nutrient cycling and biological processing within the rhizosphere
  • Improve soil structure by increasing flocculation of clay particles through protective colloidal action
  • Increase the nutrient bank (Cation Exchange Capacity) in the soil by increasing cation exchange sites
  • Bind insoluble metal ions, oxides and hydroxides to make them slowly available to plant roots
  • Stabilise toxic substance molecules and assist their bacterial degradation
  • Buffer plants from excess sodium in the soil by positively interacting with the molecular charges between sodium cations and soil particles
  • Once in the leaf the humates in HumiMax will be metabolised into simpler plant acids leading to an immediate biostimulant effect
  • Increase uptake efficiency of fertiliser leading to a reduction in overall inputs due to;
    • The natural chelating properties and enhanced leaf penetration efficiency retained by the pressure extracted humates.
    • The uniform distribution across leaf surfaces because of the micronised suspension technology.
  • Hasten the establishment of newly sown areas by stimulating nutrient uptake within the plant and providing a source of polyphenols, which catalyse plant function, intensifying cell division and consequently increasing root and shoot development.

Each humate compound plays a vital role in healthy soil life and plant function.
In a healthy functioning natural soil, humates occupy up to 50 % of the soil organic matter complex.

Leonardite

Leonardite is a naturally occurring oxidized mineral derived from concentrated humified plant deposits.

Leonardite is rich in organic substances essential for the healthy function of soil structure, soil-biology and plants.

These organic substances are known to be depleted in many top soils, growing media and sports turf profiles.

Humus

Humus is the remaining part of humification, the process of microbes decomposing organic matter in the soil. Humus forms a stable component of the organic matter present in soils. Humus performs many vital functions within the soil complex, it interacts positively with soil particles, soil nutrients, soil biology and plants.

Humus drives the naturally evolved functions and interactions between all of the fundamental constituents and processes of an efficient and healthy soil biosphere.

Increasingly growers and sports turf managers at all levels are understanding that respecting and nurturing these processes is a key component in the successful production of high quality sustainable turf surfaces.

Humates

Humus is formed of various complex organic components referred to collectively as humates.

The major humates are...

Fulvic acids – small complex molecules and the fraction of humus soluble in water.

Fulvic acids are highly biologically active due to their small molecular weight. This allows fulvic acid to dissolve minerals and elements into its structure, at which point they are referred to as mobilised fulvic complexes. These natural complexes are then in a form which easily interacts with and is absorbed by living plant tissue. Fulvic acid is nature’s method of chelating metallic minerals into a bioavailable form. Fulvic acids also capture and transport a range of plant substances such as vitamins, amino acids, auxins, enzymes and hormones.

Humic acids – complex molecules larger than fulvic acids. A fraction of humus not soluble in water.

Humic acid acts as a major carrier of nutrients into plant roots via a transfer mechanism which operates as the plant absorbs water. The negative charge of a humic acid molecule attracts and bonds with positively charged nutrients (cations) in the soil. The bonded molecules are then transported with water towards the roots and into the plant.

Hydrogen, Oxygen and Carbon are the most abundant elements present within a plants body, they are sourced via photosynthesis and water. When absorbed by plants the organic structure of humic acid molecules has been shown to mobilise hydrogen and activate oxygen, which in turn drives core plant processes. Humic acid also provides a supplementary carbon source for plants and soil biology which drives balanced, increased nutrient processing and uptake within the rhizosphere.

Humins – closely associated with humic acids, a fraction of humus not soluble in water.

Humin molecules represent stable carbohydrate like materials which form an aggregate component within the soil. Humins attract nutrients and organic molecules otherwise strongly bound to soil particles and provide a site for soil microorganisms to process them via enzymes into forms which then serve to further nourish other soil life and plants.

My Baby loves his new baby!
Size: Medium, Size: Medium
Finally! A ball my 107 lb. pitty/pointer mix can’t destroy. He has torn up every single “indestructible” toy in a day or so until now. He peels fabric and fur off non-rubber toys. He is a 4-legged shredder. I’ve added pictures of him for a size reference of my dog versus this product. I know I had wanted that when shopping for this item. This ball is now his beloved “baby.” He goes absolutely insane looking for it, chewing it, chasing it, and even sleeping with it. He won’t rest unless he knows exactly where it is. It is his only toy, and he is good with that. After getting this home, I tried giving him other choices, but he won’t touch them. I was worried that he would rip it apart by putting his teeth in the holes, but so far, not a scratch. It is soft enough to collapse just enough to keep it from cracking when his jaws crush it but not so soft that he can rip it to sheds. The holes are large enough to prevent a suction or vacuum effect on his tongue or mouth. For his size jaws, it is a perfect fit. Other dogs might have problems with suction or be able to get their teeth in those holes and rip it apart. Who knows? The older version of the Chuckit squeaky ball was his favorite for the year and a half he had it, but the way they make them now, he peels off the orange triangle in hours flat, the squeaker falls out (choking hazard), and then he rips it apart. I’m going to stock up on these. I can’t imagine how crazy he will be if they ever stop production or change the materials.

Our German Sheppard loves these
Size: Medium
These cost a bit more than tennis balls, but they are so much nicer and longer lasting. For starters, they stay cleaner than tennis balls because they’re smooth rubber. Dirt won’t build up on them and if anything does stick, like grass or soil, it falls off once the dog slobber dries. They’re also thick, so they don’t fall apart or blow out like a normal tennis ball does in our dog’s jaws after 30 seconds. Our GS chomps on these like crazy and the only damage they’ve suffered is a crack that developed from the edge of the hole, but the crack is growing very slowly and none of these balls have totally failed yet. The balls do whistle when thrown ant high speed and that may help a dog track and locate it, but I’m not sure. Our neighbors hear the whistling too so it’s far from silent. Lastly the orange ball is easy to locate out in our yard, but the dark blue practically disappears.

Great for smaller dogs
Size: Small
These two balls are perfect for the smaller mouthed dog that loves to play fetch. These balls are not only super durable (lots of teeth biting), but float in the baby pool we use for our miniature dachshunds. The value here is much better than you’d find anywhere else. The noise, if bitten hard enough, was “low” at best. Easy to spot/find if overthrown. Will definitely buy again once these are in bad repair; so far, so good-love these for my fur babies!

My dogs favorite balls
Size: Medium
These are great for my dog who always has to have a ball in her mouth. Not too hard so I don't have to worry about her teeth. They last for ever. They do lose their shape a little over time (like I said, she always has a ball in her mouth) they become a little oval in shape. They still bounce, she still chases it and she still chews on it so I don't think she notices or cares. I've gotten her a bag full of these over time and I have only seen one that she chewed a chunk out.

My Dachshunds Love These
Size: Small
These balls are durable, flexible material, highly chewable without being easily destroyed. I stuff them with Milkbone Maro Snacks, which are just the right size to twist into the holes in the ball. My dogs literally get an hour+ chewing and chasing entertainment from these. They chew them, they sometimes 'pop' out of their mouths, go rolling across the floor, dogs chasing them. This satisfies their urge to hunt prey. Dachshunds can easily tear this kind of stuff-it-toy apart. These have lasted for a long time without tearing or shredding. I would NOT recommend them for a dog much larger than a tweenie weenie. They're a bit on the small side and might be swallowed by a larger dog. It would be cool it they also came in a larger size (and probably ball wall thickness also) for the bigger dogs to enjoy. These stuff-it chew balls are better than the kong balls my dogs had before these. Highly recommend them.
