Shipping Policy

When will my order ship?

Despite the pandemic and the changes facing USPS(Link 1, below), we strive to complete all orders in a 1-3 day period. Beginning and end of the week are when we ship most of our live plants. This helps ensure they travel over the weekend instead of having delivery day land on a Sunday when post offices are closed. Please remember that, due to delays resulting from Covid-19, it is necessary to purchase Priority Shipping in order to claim DOA(Dead on Arrival). It is the best way to receive your plants quicker, healthier and in the closest condition as they were when they were shipped.

My order is Damaged/Missing. What do I do?

Message us immediately. Unfortunately, bad things happen and sometimes packages get damaged or lost in the mail. It is unlikely, but if it does happen to your order, or if you're in anyway not fully satisfied with your purchase, please reach out to us via direct message immediately. We will spare no time in resolving the situation to your satisfaction. This is my lifelong hobby and I am proud to do what I love and share it with the rest of the world. So we will make sure you are happy with your full experience with Florida Aquascaping.

Please note, due to postal delays, especially during the holidays, kindly purchase priority shipping (It's discounted for you!). Also, due to the delivery changes made at USPS we are not able to always guarantee that plants will arrive healthy, or offer full refunds/free re-shipments in the event they don't, if the Priority Shipping option is not selected at checkout. If you have checked out without it but would like to later add Priority Shipping to your order, please see the Shipping Upgrades section on the store front. We have created a special listing for those who would like to upgrade to priority even after a purchase is made. Simply purchase that listing and your original order will be shipped with Priority.

I don't like snails, do your plants have snails?

- We personally inspect every specimen that leaves the nursery, removing pests, and other imperfections, however, due to the nature of the product (live plants) it is always recommended to quarantine plants (received from anywhere really) before introducing them to your home aquarium, garden or nursery. We do try our best to remove all snails and pests but, as Dr. Ian Malcolm in Jurassic park said, "Life, uh, finds a way". A 1:20 ratio bleach to water dip will fix that though, so if you want to be sure your plant is 100% sterilized against unwanted pests, please perform the bleach dip, and definitely always wash and rinse plants before introducing them to any new environment.
