The Orchid Bark Professional Growers Trust
Douglas Fir bark that mimics your orchid's natural epiphytic environment
Premium Douglas Fir Bark
Professional-grade bark specifically sourced for orchid growing. The natural chunky texture provides the perfect balance of air pockets and moisture retention that orchid roots crave.
Prevents Root Rot
Excellent drainage keeps water from pooling around roots. Your orchids get the moisture they need without sitting in water—the number one cause of orchid death.
Perfect pH Balance
Douglas Fir bark naturally maintains the slightly acidic pH that orchids prefer. No amendments needed. Just pure bark doing what nature intended.
Superior Aeration
Chunky pieces create air pockets throughout the pot. Orchid roots breathe freely, just like they would clinging to tree bark in their natural habitat.
Long-Lasting Formula
Won't break down quickly like inferior bark products. Douglas Fir resists decomposition, so you won't need to repot as often. Saves time and reduces stress on your plants.
Works for All Orchids
Perfect for Phalaenopsis, Cattleya, Dendrobium, and all popular orchid varieties. Also works beautifully for bromeliads and other epiphytic plants.
