The Bonnie variety of Spider Plant is a curly variety that can be slightly harder to find.

Spider plants are easy peasy - tolerant of both under and over watering.  They prefer bright gentle light but will perform just fine in a variety of lighting conditions in the home.  They may burn or bleach in a hot window.
