Dragon’s Breath is a Capsicum chinense variety bred for extreme heat and dramatic appearance. Plants typically grow 3–4 feet tall and produce bright red, bumpy pods with medium-thick walls and small stinger tips.

While unofficial testing has suggested exceptionally high Scoville ratings, the defining characteristic of Dragon’s Breath is its intense capsaicin concentration. Due to this extreme heat, harvested peppers should be handled with caution.
