Think of it as the sunflower’s mysterious, moody cousin. Pollenless, single-stemmed, and ready to be in the spotlight of centerpieces and arrangements (not left out in the field to get seed-heavy and lose its signature look). Use it fresh for modern bouquets or dry it for textural drama that lasts long after the season ends.
At 5 to 6 feet tall, Sunfill Purple stands proudly in the cutting garden, loving light, well-drained soil and soaking up the sun. Just don’t overfeed, too much nitrogen can make it get a little too excited, altering growth. For best results, harvest when color first shows or as the bloom opens, depending on how you want it to shine. Petals? Minimal. Impact? Maximum. This is greenery with an edge.
