A longtime favorite of florists, the romantic cup-shaped, fully double blooms—with layers and layers of ruffled, papery petals—look like a cross of a peony and a tea rose. Maché™ Pastel Mix Ranunculus contains a multicolored mix of soft-hued blooms in shades of yellow, cream, pink, and rose. Borne on tall stems, the elegant, lightly fragrant flowers attract pollinators and hummingbirds and make excellent long-lasting cuts for spring bouquets.

The varieties in the Maché™ Pastel Mix Ranunculus have a uniform upright habit of lush feathery parsley-like foliage that works well in beds, borders, and containers.

Easy to grow and versatile, Persian buttercups prefer full sun and sandy, slightly acidic, moist soil, but excellent drainage is essential. They perform best in climates with long, cool springs and relatively mild winters. Warm, wet conditions and heavy, unamended soils are not well tolerated. Deadheading keeps ranunculus blooming, and mulching around the plants keeps the soil cool and moist. Deer and rabbit resistant.
