- Perfect statement plant for bright indoor spaces
- Highly sought-after collector’s plant across Europe
🌞 Light & Placement
- Needs bright, indirect light to maintain vibrant variegation
- Can tolerate some gentle morning or evening sun
- Avoid harsh direct sunlight to prevent leaf burn

💧 Water & Humidity
- Water when the top 3–4 cm of soil feels dry
- Keep evenly moist but never soggy
- Prefers moderate to high humidity (50–70%)
- Benefits from added humidity during dry European winters
🪴 Soil & Potting
- Use a chunky, well-draining aroid mix (soil, bark, perlite)
- Ensure excellent drainage to protect roots
- Repot once the plant becomes root-bound
🐾 Toxicity & Safety
- Not pet-safe
- Contains calcium oxalate crystals—keep away from pets and children
🌱 Growth & Propagation
- Climbing plant that benefits from a moss pole or support
- Develops iconic fenestrations (splits and holes) with maturity
- Propagation via stem cuttings with nodes
📆 Seasonal & Special Care
- Active growth in spring and summer
- Reduce watering slightly during winter dormancy
- Fertilize monthly in growing season with diluted liquid fertilizer
- Thrives at 18–27°C—ideal for indoor European climates
