When should it be used? For established lawns, apply during early spring and late fall. For new lawns, apply before seeding and again in early fall. For flower beds and vegetable gardens, apply at planting and in late fall. For indoor or container pots, apply every 3 to 4 months.
Where should it be used? For use on established lawns, new lawns, flower beds, vegetable gardens, indoor or outdoor pots, or mixed with compost.
What is the coverage area? Lawns: 10 - 15 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. coverage area. Flower beds and vegetable gardens: 1 to 1.5 lbs. per 100 square ft. Indoor and container pots: 1 teaspoon - 1 tablespoon per pot. Compost: 1/4 lb. per cubic foot of compost.
How is it applied? Easily applied using a lawn spreader, mixed with soil or compost, or incorporated into the top few inches of soil.
