A new variety that ripens early. Fruit is large, long conic to a long flat wedge. Chandler has a glossy and very firm skin with very firm flesh. Good dessert and freezing quality. Plants are semi-erect and runner production is excellent. Recommended along the Gulf Coast, Nevada to Arkansas to Maryland to South Carolina plus Florida, The Pacific Northwest and California. A good fresh market berry.
