Hens & Chicks plants are famous for their ability to produce gorgeous rosette-shaped offsets, or chicks, around the mother plant. Hens & Chicks Chick Charms® ‘Gold Nugget’ is a spectacular new hybrid chosen for its remarkable vibrancy: a bright lime green color in the warm summer months turns to a brilliant orange-red in the colder months. The name Sempervivum means “always living” and this beloved cold-hardy succulent is as easy to grow as it is colorful. Because it thrives on neglect and needs very little water, this plant can be grown creatively in places not suitable for other plants, whether it’s adding some whimsy to cracks in a stone wall, or as a focal point in a fairy garden. A shining star in any collection, ‘Gold Nugget’ is a proven survivor that will delight you with year-round color.
