When X7603 entered service in June 1963 it was one of six Great Northern weed spray cars.

Our HO scale model X7603 Weed Sprayer kit is a 3D printed kit suited for those experienced with building craftsman kits. The kit includes Tichy grabs, Plano roof walk, Tahoe Model Works truck frames, wire, screws, window material, decals, and a grab iron bending jig. Paint, couplers, wheel sets, and weights are not included. This kit comes with truck frames only so you can use the wheels of your choice.

There are over 60 grab iron holes to drill. They are all dimpled but we do not recommend drilling them out with a hand needle vise. We recommend that you use a motorized pin vise or hobby drill to drill the holes for your grab irons.

When spraying weeds, the car was supported by tank cars. The chemical manufacturers shipped their 2-4-D herbicide concentrate in X-1100 and X-1200 series tank cars. As applied, the concentrate was diluted by two parts water to one part concentrate. A main line application was 20 feet wide at 120 gallons of diluted solution per mile. Typical application speed was 15 MPH. The two to one dilution implies that the typical weed spray train consisted of spray car, three tank cars, an engine, and a caboose. The 36,000-gallon total capacity of these trains was good for 300 miles of main track, but probably about 250 miles was the practical limit.

While the company had two homemade 16,000 gallon weed spray tank cars (see Reference Sheet 317), and one assigned locomotive tender, this was not enough designated weed spray tank cars to support the six spray cars operating in the 1960s.

As of 1960 Great Northern had 37 tank cars of 12,000-gallon capacity built by American Car and Foundry in 1913 numbered in series X-1125 to X-1164, and 109 tank cars of 12,500-gallon capacity in series X-1165 to X-1289 built by Chicago Steel Car Company in 1923 available for weed spray service.

Likeable characters, but only 75% complete story
Format: Kindle
I really liked the characters introduced, but the author didn’t fully conceptualize everything. We know Lila works long hours, but despite being a college graduate we never learn anything about what she does, where she works, how much she gets paid, etc. For an omega who seemed to be able to support herself, that seemed an unusual oversight. We learn absolutely nothing about what she wants in life, either. Is she just surviving the post-college life struggle or working up to her dream job? Fiona the flamingo had more detail than some of the main characters, but she was 10/10 as good as Wendy for a side character. — spoilers ahead —- Separately, some of the plot details were contradictory, or just missing. On one page Lila and Larry were together for 18 months, on another it was 4 years. When did she even move in with him? What did she do while he was gaming? How long were she and Wendy friends for Lila to trust her like that but not know much about her? And why didn’t Lila’s alphas sue Larry to reduce Lila’s debt? Shopping seemed a weird choice pamper her without knowing more about Lila’s debt and plans to reduce it. And her alphas never even ask anything about her job, but she’s The One. Such a frustrating relationship plot hole. We never even learn anything about the alphas’ families or what they want in life either. I wish the author had written about 30 more pages fleshing out the details and showing how the alphas were just as in love with Lila’s personality as they were with her scent and body. Loved the concept, but I still feel like I read 3/4 of a book.

It's mid
Format: Kindle
There's a cute story there. The guys are sweet, but... I don't know. It's very vanilla. Not just the mediocre spicy scenes, but the whole story. It's just ok.

This is the type of fast pace stories I love to read. I felt nothing felt incomplete. Everything went together. Loved the men loved the best friend and the Fmc. Definitely would recommend this book.

Fun, Steamy, and Just Enough Depth
Format: Kindle
I liked this book — it was cute, short, and exactly what I expected from a quick Omegaverse read. While it doesn’t dive too deeply into character development, there was enough personality and backstory sprinkled in to keep the relationships believable and engaging, especially given the length. What I really appreciated was that the focus stayed on the main characters and their connection. The heat, the banter, and the romance were front and center without getting bogged down in unnecessary drama. It made for an easy, enjoyable read that flowed smoothly from start to finish. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series. There was a teaser blurb at the end, but it isn’t up on Amazon yet — hopefully it’ll be posted soon so I can add it to my wish list.

Good But
Format: Kindle
A little disjointed at times, at least to me. This was about Lila (omega woman) and Harrison, Wesley and River (alpha males). The main characters were likeable, as was Lila's friend, Wendy. Lila finally wised up and left the alpha she had been with for a couple of years because he was an a-hole, who treated and used her horribly. She knew some, if not all, of the guys from college if I remember correctly. The guys had been looking for an omega to bond with for some time. When Lila saw Harrison again, the other two guys were out on a date with another omega but Harrison refused to go because he didn't like her. He saw Lila again and knew she was the omega they had been searching for. However, it wasn't easy for them to convince Lila of that because of the way her ex-alpha treated her. The sex was hot. There was one inconsistency. I could almost swear that when Lila first saw Harrison again, she told her best friend, Wendy, that Harrison was the lead for his pack. Then later on when she's spending time with River, she thinks he is the pack's lead. Maybe I read something incorrectly. All in all, a good story.
