Ed’s Care Guide
Care Level: Easy
Light: Medium to bright indirect light preserves crisp variegation. Tolerates lower light but may produce slower growth and softer patterning.
Water: Water when the top inch of soil is dry. Prefers slightly dry conditions over consistently wet soil.
Humidity: 40–60% ideal, but adapts well to average indoor humidity.
Temperature: 65–85°F (18–29°C). Avoid cold drafts below 60°F.
Soil: Use a light, well-draining mix with added perlite or orchid bark for airflow.
Feeding: Fertilize monthly during spring and summer with a balanced liquid houseplant fertilizer.
Pruning: Pinch vines to encourage bushier growth. Remove yellowing leaves at the node.
Propagation: Take 4–6 inch cuttings below a node. Roots typically form within 2–3 weeks in water or soil.
Common Pests: Spider mites, mealybugs, and scale.
Toxicity: Toxic to pets and humans if ingested.
Effortless Beauty for Any Space
‘Pearls & Jade’ is more than just decorative—it’s a resilient, living accent that adds texture and softness to modern interiors. Its compact size makes it ideal for apartments and smaller spaces, while its trailing habit brings natural movement wherever it’s displayed.
Fun Fact
Each leaf develops unique flecking patterns—no two are identical. The “Pearls” reference comes from the tiny, bead-like speckles scattered across its creamy margins.
