'Silver Queen' is a clump forming perennial with deeply cut, lobed leaves.  Its pale blue flowers have contrasting black anthers and translucent veins during the summer months.  Very hardy plant which will produce flowers in late Spring and early Summer for many years.  Loved by bees and other pollinators.  Will self seed if left to sow, generally coming true but periodically producing some lovely variations.  Can also be propagated by division in Spring or basal cuttings in Autumn.  Requires very little maintenance apart from being cut right back at the end of the season - cutting back once the seeds start to go over may well produce a second flush of colour.
