How Trimec Southern Works

Trimec uses a combination of ingredients to provide broad-spectrum control of various weeds on warm-season grasses. In fact, it contains three ingredients to deliver optimal results: 2,4-D, dimethylamine salt of propionic acid and dicamba. These ingredients work together to eliminate numerous weed species without negatively affecting the surrounding turfgrass. It's formulated to be gentle on the grass while aggressively attacking and killing weeds in the lawn and other turf sites.

Where to Use Trimec Southern Herbicide

Trimec herbicide's Southern formula works on most any warm-season grass in residential and commercial sites. It can even be applied to well-established grasses like St. Augustinegrass and fescues, as well as bluegrass and bentgrass, without the worry of killing the turf. Some of the most common target areas for use include:

  • Home lawns
  • Apartment complexes
  • Commercial landscapes
  • Golf courses
  • Athletic fields
  • Parks and other recreational sites

Trimec Herbicide Target Pests

Thanks to Trimec's formulation, this broadleaf herbicide targets more than 95 weed species in southern grasses, including some hard-to-control weeds like Florida pusley and Carolina geranium. It's a highly effective product that should not be overlooked by professionals who need a quality herbicide to kill and control several weeds at once. Some of the most common target weeds include:

  • Dandelions
  • Clovers
  • Creeping beggarweed
  • Henbit
  • Spurge
  • Wild garlic
  • Yarrow

Trimec also effectively kills and controls nuisance weeds such as poison ivy, ragweed and speedwell. It's optimal for controlling Virginia buttonweed, Pennsylvania smartweed and English daisy, all thanks to its triple-ingredient formulation.

Benefits of Using Trimec Herbicide

  • Controls more than 95 broadleaf weeds
  • Works on warm-season southern grasses
  • Kills hard-to-control weeds like spurge and burs
  • Mixes easily in the tank for quick applications

Good Reading
Format: Paperback
The third book we chose to read for our summer reading program was Not That Pet! I am a nanny of a six-year-old girl going into first grade. It’s fun seeing a child’s eyes light up when a book or story engages their imagination. This story was another hit. This was an entertaining read! This is a rhyming read-aloud story that had us both giggling from the beginning of the story to the end. The main character, Mabel, is allowed to pick the family pet. She is determined to find the perfect pet. Her choices had us groaning, ‘oh nooo’ while shaking our heads and laughing out loud. We couldn’t read fast enough to see Mabel’s next choice. Her final decision was unpredictable. We couldn’t believe the final choice was a…. well, you’ll just have to read the story yourself to find out. The illustrations themselves had us smirking. We took the time to really look at the pages and discovered small details that really added to the enjoyment of the story. We read this story several times which is an indicator that this book is a keeper. Enjoy reading Summer 2023! originally posted at long and short reviews

As good As It Get
Format: Kindle
I read the second book in this cottage series about smart town/village life in the Cotswolds before this first one. Both are so very very good and touching. Can't wait to read the third one in this series. These sapphic HEA romances are as good as it gets.

Sweet, Escapist, and Good Characters
Format: Kindle
I enjoyed the setting of this book. I love a book with a good sense of place. The chemistry between the characters was good and built through the story, I thought the book could have benefited from heavier editing. I appreciated the good dialogue, but it seemed unnecessarily copious at times, putting a drag on the forward motion of the story. Worth my time - absolutely.

Bravo!
Format: Kindle
"For two people who love words, we f***ing suck at communication." These words, uttered near the end of the book, really describe the relationship between Josie and Harriett (Harry). They have both built their careers on the crafting of words, but when it comes to them communicating with each other, there are many misunderstandings, foot-in-mouth moments, and missed opportunities to say how they feel. That, along with each one's hesitation to make the first move, causes the sexual tension to build and build, so when they finally do get together... well, you don't want to miss that! The contrast of Josie, the American, and Harry, the Brit, is fun. The story is heart-warming. The banter is enjoyable and doesn't seem like it's just filling space in the book. The supporting characters are colorful and have depth. I really enjoyed it, so I say, "Bravo, TB Markinson! A standing ovation from me!"
