’Kobai #2’ is one you should consider having in your collection. The deep pink blooms have overlapping rounded petals. White swirled variegation across these pink blooms make this Satsuki azalea extra special. 

Satsuki azaleas with special variegation may be numbered. ‘Kobai #1’ would be predominantly white blooms with a few deep pink blooms with white variegation. ‘Kobai #2’ is considered to be a heavily desired form by many because it is primarily pink-red blooms with white swirled variegation. This is the form of ‘Kobai’ we are currently offering.

’Kobai #2’ is a late spring bloomer, putting on a show in a smaller compact space. In 10 years, ‘Kobai #2’ may reach 2-3 ft in height and width.
