Product Description
Aloha! I’m the Anthurium — or as some call me, the “Flamingo Flower.” With my glossy heart-shaped leaves and vivid blooms in red, pink, or white, I bring a bold splash of tropical elegance to any space. I’ve been adored in Hawaii since the late 1800s, where I’ve graced leis, celebrations, and floral displays with my dramatic beauty.
My waxy, long-lasting flowers — technically modified leaves called spathes — create a striking contrast with my lush foliage. Whether you’re dressing up your home, office, or garden, I’m the perfect plant to uplift your space with island charm.
Many assume I’m high-maintenance, but I’m surprisingly easygoing. I adapt well to indoor life, don’t need constant humidity, and prefer to dry out slightly between waterings. Give me bright, indirect light and a cozy spot — I’ll bloom and thrive with grace!
What You’ll Get
You’ll receive one (1) Anthurium plant in your choice of size:
- 2-inch pot: young starter, no blooms yet
- 4-inch pot: more mature, often with blooms, though not guaranteed
Colors vary naturally — from flamingo pinks to deep tropical reds.
Care Tips
- Light: Bright, indirect sunlight
- Water: Let the soil dry slightly between waterings
- Fertilizer: Use a balanced liquid houseplant fertilizer every 6–8 weeks
- Growth Rate: Moderate — blooms can appear in 6–12 months
- Other Notes: Avoid direct sun to prevent leaf scorch
