| Monstera Adansonia is a rock star among houseplants, beloved on social media and in real life for its large, heart-shaped, hole-y leaves. Like Monstera deliciosa, Monstera Adansonia is commonly referred to as Swiss cheese plant because of the holes (perforations or fenestrations) in its leaves. Also called Swiss cheese vine, the smaller, more compact Monstera Adansonia develops leaf perforations sooner than Monstera deliciosa. The holes can represent up to 50 percent or so of a leaf. One theory for why these tropical forest dwellers "go hole-y" is that the openings enable light to more easily reach lower leaves. With its vining growth habit, Monstera Adansonia a wonderful hanging basket plant, adding living dimension to your home decor from above. Or from a plant shelf or stand. The plant can be trained to climb as well and is capable to spreading to as much as 8 feet in length. Provide plenty of bright, indirect light. Water so that soil is consistently, evenly moist but not soggy. Water again when the top inch or two of soil feels dry or nearly dry. You can feed the plant monthly during spring through fall with an all-purpose liquid houseplant food diluted by half. Monsteras like temps in the 65 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit range and humidity above 50 percent. You can increase humidity by using a humidifier or placing the monstera near other tropical foliage plants or in your kitchen or bathroom. Good Pillows to Show Off Decorative Pillow Shams

Although we have queen-sized beds, we typically use standard-sized pillows. One of the quilt sets I got this Christmas time came with queen sized pillow shams, and the standard pillows just didn't fill them properly. I could have sewn flanges on either side of the shams, but I decided to order these pillows instead. The are almost wide enough to fully fill those shams that started all this additional purchasing. (I also ended up ordering pillow protectors for the queen sized pillows.)
The pillows are fluffy and substantial for now. My husband manages to flatten out pillows almost no matter how they start our. For now, so far so good. They re a medium-weight and fullness, I would say. They do a good job of showing off the pillow sham design, so that's a plus. I'm not planning for us to sleep on them, but they are added back support while watching TV. They are primarily for decorative purposes when the bed is made with the quilt and shams. They were a reasonable value for the intended purpose.
