In true DOD fashion, the Metal X, Corrosion and Grunge were all built using the same circuit board and identical circuit design. There is very little if any difference between the Metal X and Corrosion, according to that Josh guy from JHS the only difference between them is the enclosure artwork which was only a rebrand by DOD, as for the circuit I can't find anything discerning the two so I'd say he's correct.

Besides a few component values differences and an omitted capacitor in the distortion circuit, the main difference between the Metal X and Grunge circuits is the EQ gyrator which use some different component values to get slightly different EQ curves. The Grunge has a larger boost in the high range by a few dB and both high EQ's centre on a 5.5kHz frequency with the Metal X having a larger Q. The bass response is almost identical, with the low frequency centered around 130 Hz with a wide Q. SPAN imaging and explanations are detailed in the demo videos for both pedals.

In keeping with the tradition of DOD, any of these three pedals can be built on the same circuit board.

Additional hard and soft clipping options have been added to give this pedal some variety when it comes to the way the distortion sounds and interacts with the EQ gyrators. As you will hear in the demo these clipping options make quite the difference to the overall tone.

Hard and soft clipping toggle switch options;

Left = LED/Schottky Bat46 combo
Center = OFF
Right = Symmetrical Silicon

This pedal also doubles as a signal buffer. A Klon style buffered bypass was added to squash the oscillation feedback that happens with true bypass high gain pedals and also adds signal integrity to a signal chain.

The footswitch on the DOD pedals are notoriously unreliable, both for not always switching properly when engaged and also for failing. This version uses a modern footswitch that always switches when engaged and a low failure rate.

 *Note* This pedal runs on a standard 9 Volt centre negative power supply which is not provided, for suggestions on power supplies see the info section.

Really nice!
Color: Brown
Nicely made. The wood has a lovely finish and rich color. The compartments have a softer bottom so you don’t have to worry about scratching your glasses or other surfaces. Great assortment of compartment sizes to help organize your items. Kicking myself for not getting one sooner.

the BEST organizer EVERR
Color: white
This makeup organizer is incredibly useful and it looks great aesthetically too! It has a very very large storage capacity and it fits all of my skin care products aswell as many other extras, and there's STILL room for more. While it does look a bit plain and like cheap plastic, the organizer still looks aesthetically pleasing all around with its compact and minimal shape. The "cheapness" barely registers especially when you put items in which helps carry some of the appearance. The silicone handles are also pretty unconventional- but even after a while of owning this, I haven't experienced any issues that could suggest it's at all flimsy or could break off at any time. It's very easy to keep my items neat because of this, and I'm very happy with my purchase. Honestly and I MEAN IT, it's a must have ya'll 😩
