For us, Colocasia 'Bikini Tini' has formed a 4.5' tall x 3' wide patch of upright, glossy, jet-black stems topped with 1' long, glaucous leaves that form fascinating water-holding cups. For us, Colocasia 'Bikini Tini' makes a much better garden clump than either Colocasia 'Coffee Cups' or 'Big Dipper'. As the leaves fill with water, the stalks bow down to allow the water to empty before returning upright. In full sun, good soil moisture is necessary to keep the leaf edges from burning.
