One of my favorites because it doesn't sting my eyes

This was my first time purchasing this from Amazon though I've bought this product elsewhere before.
This is a sunscreen I come back to because I can use it on my body and it works relatively well on my face as well. It is hydrating and can give a matte-ish looking finish although on my face I'd say it leaves more of a dewy look because I put moisturizer on prior to applying. I've seen a few reviews mention there is pilling when applying to the face and while I've had that happen it's normally only during the day when I reapply. I think that first thing in the morning I don't really have that issue because of the moisturizer I put on before- I let the moisturizer soak in a bit before going in with the sunscreen.
My favorite thing about this sunscreen is that it doesn't sting my eyes, I've worn it out on 90+ SoCal heat and it has not stung my eyes- there's been numerous sunscreen I like on my face but don't repurchase because even mid-80"s heat causes them to run and both sting and blur my vision. As for my giving this a 4 rather than a 5 it is because it leaves a mild white cast after I apply it norming and reapplying throughout the day. The mild white cast does eventually go away but it does take some time, though that is the one downsides I am glad that I'm at least not forced to sport a ghost-ish face all day. In all honestly, the cast is only mild when compared to others like the New "Sheer" Bluelizard SPF 50 face lotion, among others.
I'm a little jealous of others who say they don't have a white cast at all but different products react differently with different people so I know it might just be a "me thing." Overall this is one of the sheer and non-tinted sunscreens I am happiest with and will repurchase again as needed unless I stumble onto that unicorn 50 broad spectrum SPF, cast free, no eye burning/ irritating, and reasonably priced and sized sunscreen =)

My new favorite

Non-greasy, doesn’t cause irritation to my sensitive skin or cause breakouts, good sun protection, holds up to sweat, smells terrific, fair price. I just wish there were multiple spf options. I have already bought more.

Protección efectiva y aroma tropical delicioso

Se ha convertido en mi bloqueador favorito. Llevo meses usándolo y no solo cumple con su función de protegerme del sol, sino que deja mi piel suave, hidratada y con un aroma riquísimo que me transporta directo a la playa.
Tiene una textura ligera que se absorbe rápido, sin dejar esa sensación pegajosa o pesada como otros protectores solares. La uso tanto en la ciudad como en la playa, y me ha protegido perfectamente, incluso con exposiciones prolongadas al sol. Además, no me ha causado brotes ni irritación, lo cual valoro muchísimo porque tengo la piel un poco sensible.
Otro punto a favor es que deja un brillo bonito en la piel, como un glow saludable, pero sin verse grasosa. ¡Y el olor! Ese toque a coco y flores tropicales me fascina. Siento que estoy de vacaciones cada vez que la aplico.
Definitivamente la seguiré comprando. Es efectiva, huele delicioso y cuida mi piel. ¿Qué más se puede pedir?

Great sunscreen!
Style: SPF 50
This sunscreen is a very affordable price, and it is very matte on the face, leaves almost no white cast, and isn't oily at all on my combination skin. It works great under makeup too. I use this daily after my moisturizer, and its super lightweight. Great affordable option for oily skinned people.

Don’t buy
Style: SPF 50
I love Hawaiian Tropic but this product is terrible. It smells good, but it makes you super white and is hard to rub in. Imagine rubbing glue between your fingers when it’s dry, that’s the kind of white residue left all over you. Wouldn’t buy this specific Hawaiian Tropic product again. Stick to the basic products they offer
