Great book, substandard printing
Format: Hardcover
Really enjoyed this book. Very well written and presented. The concepts presented are very thought provoking. My only complaint is that the book is cheaply printed and bound (hard-cover). For the price, I expected a much higher quality product. The first page was partially glued to the cover, the paper is rough in texture and feels cheap. The cover is not well bonded to the pages with obvious gaps when the book is fully opened.

Brilliant
Format: Kindle
I just love NT Wright. If youโve read anything heโs written before then you know heโs big on believers being agents of new creation in this world. The phrase he repeats over and over in this book is โsmall working models of new creation.โ Ephesians is about how God has rescued us in the Messiah and made us new humans so we can display what new creation looks like to a watching world. The church is Godโs new temple - the place where heaven and earth meet and from where Godโs glory spreads to bring renewal like the river in Ezekiel. Our vocation is to do good works that display Godโs creativity and cause people to be amazed at His redeeming love. Our unity in diversity, our mutual submission, and our work in the world are all to have this one goal - displaying Godโs glory.
