A favorite for all ages!!

What a sweet story! Both my 20 month old and my 3.5 year old love this book. Now whenever they see a banana they say โsilly bananaโ or โsweet bananaโ! It is a favorite in our house!!

My kids loved the book
We read it every night and they love the repetition of the almost song like funny bananas
And the end with the mirror is out delight funny faces and cuddling

Cute Concept but a Little Abstract for Younger Kids
Format: Board book
The illustrations are bright and friendly and the board book format is sturdy, so it holds up well with little hands flipping pages a bit aggressively. The rhyming flows okay, not perfect poetry but not awkward either. That said, the concept might be a little abstract for very young kids depending on their age. Mine liked the pictures but didnโt fully connect the idea without explanation, so it ended up being more of a guided read than an independent โget it right awayโ story. It feels like a good conversation starter book rather than a quick bedtime read you can breeze through half asleep. Still cute, just something to be aware of depending on your kid.
