Fun, engaging dog toy that keeps pets entertained, but battery life could be better
Color: Blue
Iβve been using the ITEHZTO Interactive Dog Ball Automatic Dog Toy for my dog, and overall itβs been a great way to keep him active and engaged, especially when Iβm busy or not able to play fetch. The different play modes are a nice feature, and the unpredictable movement really grabs his attention. It does a good job of encouraging exercise and mental stimulation.
The USB-C charging is convenient, and I appreciate not having to mess with batteries. The size is also good for small to medium dogs, and it feels durable enough to handle regular play.
The reason Iβm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the battery life doesnβt last as long as I expected, especially when using the more active modes. Also, on harder flooring it can be a bit noisy as it bounces around.
Overall, itβs a fun and useful interactive toy that my dog genuinely enjoys. With slightly longer battery life and quieter operation, it would easily be a 5-star product.

Great stimulation for a 'busy' pup

Iβll admit I was a little skeptical since my German Shepherd is well over the recommended weight limit for this ball, but itβs been a huge hit. Even though itβs technically for smaller breeds, it has held up remarkably well so far. Iβve mostly kept it on the gentle mode, and thatβs more than enough to grab her attention and keep her occupied for quite a while. The design is actually much tougher than the warnings suggest; the two halves screw together so securely that she hasn't been able to pry it open, which is impressive for a tough chewer. Itβs been a great way to keep her mentally engaged indoors without worrying about the toy falling apart immediately.

Recommended for Small, Mellower Dogs, not the destructive, chewy kind

My dog loved this ball, maybe a little too much. He attacked it like it was a wild animal and left teeth marks and tears in the outer plastic. I decided to give it to my cats instead, who initially were very intrigued by it. The buff kitty even chirped to see it. He would roll around with it as it vibrated and hopped, but after a while he wasnβt that interested. I think I can get them to play with it if I donβt use it with them every day, maybe wait a few weeks between playtimes. Perhaps it is a little too large for cats. My dog, who is less than 30 lbs., might be too big for it, or maybe just his mouth is, or maybe because heβs a Boston Terrier and he always feels like itβs his duty to destroy all toys (all my Bostons were like that). But I donβt think I will let him have it again. Maybe a toy breed or puppy might be more of the appropriate size for this ball. Or someone who isnβt as destructive.
The instructions are almost unreadable because the text is so small. I couldnβt understand what I was supposed to do with the βinstallation process.β I did figure out how to turn it on and off by myself, however. There are four modes when it is on: gentle, normal, active, and lighting only (no vibration).
As a human, it is a fun thing to watch, even if it is just for the light show.

Picky dog approved!

I have wasted so much money on dog balls that they won't even pick up! They finally were obsessed with the Kong rubber green/blue or red/blue ones, but they're $3+. each, and they break from the dogs squishing it. I honestly had zero expectations on these, and they BOTH picked them up on the first throw! That's huge!!
Seem to work fine in the ChuckIt.
As for the squeaker, at first I was like "Oh nooooo." when they both loudly started! Much to my (and my neighbors') happiness, the squeakers stopped working after a couple minutes. π€£
