For tiny dogs, these are great ways to entertain the pups and get them to clean their own teeth; I have had one for 5 years and the dogs never were able to harm the white parts. That’s stopped, her teeth and gums look healthier, and she carries it around with or without the inserts. She loves it. The con: the bristles come apart after aggressive chewing. She swallowed some and I caught the other side coming off. So whenever I see this on sale, I buy several new ones. I don’t try to make it last and I check it often for damage.
