The bed features a beautifully shaped three-panel headboard that rises to an impressive 85 inches, flanked by hand-turned spindle posts. A matching paneled footboard with turned legs completes the frame, and sturdy wood slats provide support; however, a box spring is still required to properly support the mattress. Available in King or Queen sizes.

The 8-drawer dresser provides generous storage with four rows of double drawers, each fitted with round wooden knobs and natural wood drawer interiors. Decorative turned spindle columns frame the front, and a coordinating arched mirror tops it off for a complete vanity station. The 3-drawer nightstand keeps bedside essentials within reach, with a hidden felt-lined top compartment for jewelry or valuables and full-extension ball-bearing glides on all drawers.

This book presents the cases in a story and gives a lot of detail about what went on in the lives of the people involved in these lawsuits outside of the courtroom. The only thing that I wish would have been talked about in greater detail would be a more in-depth look at the opinions and reasons from the justices that were not voting in favor of the plaintiffs.

Thankfully, women no longer have to pay more for retirement plans, and get lower payouts, than men. Amazing how many different, inventive the ways were in the 1960's to keep women out of jobs. Bless Title VII and the attorneys and clients who fought these battles; we stand on their shoulders. The saddest part is the update, at the end of the book showing how protections against gender discrimination in the workplace have weakened in recent years. In particular, it has become difficult, or nearly impossible, to prove that a hostile work environment exists so long as employers pay lip service to certain ideas and practices and hide what's really going on--which we working women KNOW still goes on, unfortunately.
