The inverted pleats flatter all ages, and occasions too – from beach to bridal wear.
Wearing a net petticoat will make the skirt flare more exaggeratedly, emphasising the contrast between your waist and hips for an hourglass effect; although using a stiff brocade fabric often renders a petticoat unnecessary, thanks to the clever box pleats!
