This 1981-82 F/W Christian Dior Boutique long sleeve blouson dress was made in France of unlined black silk velvet, and originally purchased at H.R.'s Boutique (Holt Renfrew's designer boutique.) It was featured on that season's runway and photographed by Rodolphe Haussaire for the August 1981 issue of L'Officiel.
Its features include a gold lamé Pierrot collar with a bow at the neck, an elastic waist, and a pocket at each side. It fastens with seven buttons up the front left side, two buttons on the left shoulder, and a button on each cuff. There are a couple minor pulls in the lamé collar but it's otherwise in excellent condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
