Jessica McClintock had the magical ability, as a designer, to tap into every young woman's fantasy dress -a little bit of Victorian influence, some Renaissance touches, and add a splash of general princess vibes! Her oldest pieces were created under her 'black label', and this is one of those rare pieces. But, it's extra rare, because in my 25+ years of collecting and selling vintage clothing (with a penchant for anything Jessica McClintock/Gunne Sax), I've never seen one exactly like it. I have, however, seen the same dress in a different colorway (same print/pattern but with different colors used), which utilized a much starker palette, with mostly grey & black (no green). There's something very enchanting about the beautiful, soft green and other colors used, as it gives it a more Victorian feel.
The dress features a stylized scoop neck and high collar, with a lace panel adorning it. The full length sleeves are wide and billowy, then graduate to wide structured cuffs -also trimmed in lace- that feature zipper closures. The waist is set high, almost Empire style, and has two self-fabric side sashes for closure. The skirt is extra full, A-line shape, and ends in a wide ruffle, also trimmed in lace. Entire piece, with exception of main body of sleeves, is lined in a lightweight, ivory color acetate fabric. Overall condition is excellent, with little to no signs of wear and absolutely no flaws to note -please see photographs for full details. Only labels read 'Gunne Sax, Jessica McClintock, San Francisco' and the other label is no longer readable.

- 14 inches across from shoulder to shoulder
- 28 inch sleeve length
- 37 inch bust maximum (fits a 36 inch bust comfortably)
- 30 inches at waist
- 42 inch hips
- 57 inch total length from shoulder to hem

Finely, a sink caddy that actually sticks to the sink! We have been so frustrated trying to find one that does. This one is great. We just used the suction cups, which are large and there are 3 of them. If finely actually stays there!

Works & Looks Great!
This item comes with two options for sticking to the sink, suction cups & an adhesive thing. I decided to try the suction cups first, that way I can remove them to clean, plus I wanted to test out the position of where I put it on the sink. They work great! I haven’t had to re-stick not once. Great staying power! And it looks really good! Also, the seller sent a follow-up message just to check in & offer answers if any questions arose. That meant the world to me, like it’s not every day a seller cares what you think once money changes hands. 10/10 would recommend!

Three months later, it's a keeper

I hate it when reviews are left one day after the product arrives. At that point, there's no way of knowing if the item is going to last. When my last sink caddy went bad (the suction cups rotted out and the wires had started to rust), I ordered this as a replacement. Inexpensive, functional, worth a try.
There were two things that impressed me when this arrived. The suction cups weren't permanently mounted, so if they fell apart, the caddy was still worthwhile. Secondly, the company offered free replacement suction cups if the time came I needed them. That struck me as above-and-beyond; I had no idea this was part of the package.
I'm happy with this. It looks good, I detach the sink caddy regularly when I want to move it out of the way, and it pops right back into place. For the money, I don't think you can beat it.
