Kirby Allison has collaborated with Budd Shirtmaker to bring to life his bespoke Budd 100% Cream Spun Silk Dinner Shirt. Nothing surpasses the elegance of black tie, but it is becoming increasingly difficult to find the proper black tie "kit" without going "full bespoke."

This shirt is crafted from an exceptionally elegant cream spun silk fabric. Perhaps the most elegant of any fabric with which one could have a dinner shirt made, cream spun silk has a nuance to it that really can only be experienced. The spun silk does not have the sheen of typical satin silk, giving this shirt a beautiful visual texture and comfort simply not possible with even the finest cottons. Furthermore, the unbleached cream color of the silk gives this shirt a softness that balances out the contrast between one's dinner shirt and black tuxedo.

In addition, these shirts are hand-plated not with the standard 1/2" pleats found on Budd's standard RTW dinner shirt, but with a finer 1/4" pleat normally only available to bespoke clients. The smaller pleats can only be achieved by hand - with only two seamstresses at Budd's Andover factory qualified to sew these - and doubles the amount of work involved in the pleating.

The result is a dinner shirt that truly represents the pinnacle of elegance.

Fantastic Book!
Format: Paperback
“This book is such an amazing, thought-provoking, raw, and beautifully written novel. I thoroughly enjoyed every page and truly could not put it down. The characters came alive in such a vivid and unforgettable way that I was genuinely sad when the story ended, and I cried so much at the end. It pulled at my heartstrings in the most beautiful, poignant, and emotionally honest way. A truly unforgettable read.”

emotionally rich but overly long.
Format: Kindle
Where the wildflowers grow has some generally moving moments, especially around grief, healing, and found family. The flower farm setting is comforting, and Leigh’s trauma feels authentic. However, the pacing is slow in the middle. Some of the plot twist are fairly predictable. I felt the love between Leigh and Jackson was moving, and I felt her healing with Tibbs and Luke was very emotional. The book lies heavily into melancholy, but I I’m glad that I read it. I didn’t feel like it was a complete waste of time. I just wish it was maybe a little shorter.

Wildflowers
Format: Kindle
This book was really good, it's definitely a love story, I enjoyed the story line. It definitely took a while for it to come out, but I had my suspicions along the way. It's a long book but it was a quick read for me.

A Beautiful Story of Healing and Hope
Format: Kindle
Where the Wildflowers Grow is a tender and beautifully written story about survival, healing, and unexpected love. Leigh has endured unimaginable loss, and her time on the flower farm becomes the pause her spirit needs. I loved this story as my heart ached at Leigh’s journey. Jackson is a beautiful soul who understands the work of healing and helps her feel seen and alive again. The book is filled with learning nuggets and gentle reminders, including my favorite line: “You are more than the sum of your struggles.” A beautiful reminder that something new can bloom after heartbreak.

Raw, Real and worth the read!
Format: Kindle
There are very few books that pull you in so deeply that you forget you are reading fiction, but Where the Wildflowers Grow did exactly that for me. The story felt raw, honest, and incredibly human. At times, Leigh’s pain, trauma, and hidden struggles were written with such depth that it felt less like reading about a character and more like walking alongside a real person learning how to survive and heal. What stood out to me most was Jack’s patience and gentleness throughout Leigh’s journey. His ability to love her through the walls she built around herself was both heartbreaking and beautiful. Their relationship wasn’t rushed or unrealistic; it showed the slow, difficult process of trust, healing, and emotional growth in a way that felt authentic. One of my favorite parts of the book was the symbolism surrounding flower gardening and growth. As someone who loves gardening, the euphemisms woven throughout the story connected with me on a much deeper level. The idea that people, much like flowers, need the right environment, care, patience, and time to bloom was beautifully portrayed. Healing was not shown as instant or perfect, but as something tender that requires nurturing through every season. This book left me emotional, reflective, and deeply connected to its message. It is a story about pain, love, patience, and the beauty that can still grow from broken places. I absolutely loved it and will be thinking about it for a long time.
