The Fall 2011 show was set in a 'forest' constructed on soil that was meant to look burnt and desolate. When asked why he did the set like this, Karl responded by saying 'The world is a dark place'. To offset that gloom he put bright white lights at both ends of the runway to signify hope. In talking about the clothing itself, Vogue's Tim Blanks said in part; 'He (Karl) elaborated on the audacious theme he established for Spring, where jackets and coats looked moth-eaten or tattered. Here, many of the looks had the ashy appearance of clothes that had weathered a natural disaster because they'd been packed tightly in a trunk.' He noted this dress in particular saying; "The palette stayed shadowy throughout, the proportions slightly man-sized, with rounded shoulders. Even the more overtly "feminine" pieces looked like damaged goods, say a skirt of spectacularly shredded chiffon or a pair of full-length knit sheaths that dissolved into loose strands of wool at the back.' and finished his review with; 'Aside from the mesmerizing scenario, the collection's genius lay in Lagerfeld's supernatural prescience about the way a lot of young women want to dress now, mixing the street with enough high fashion fantasy to make the result seem rich and strange.'. The dress is gorgeous and it is always nice to find the twin of a runway piece. I included reference photos, video and one bit of a shot of the back of the dress so you can see how it works on an actual body.

This Chanel dress is wonderful. The cut is simple and classic from the front and yet the back is very avante garde and unique. It is made from a soft but chunky boucle feeling knit that combines black with a grey tinged ivory to keep with the theme of the show. On the runway Karl paired it with knit versions of his signature gloves and a low boot. The wool is light in weight but with enough substance to hold the shape. The light weight makes it a lot easier to wear then you would think. The look of weight comes from the nubbiness of the knit but it is actually quite light. The bodice of the dress has a scooped neck that is finished with a ribbed pattern. The sleeves are barely there and are also edged in that same ribbed pattern for contrast. It is cut to skim over the bust and waist. The skirt continues from there, gliding over the hips and then the dress falls to the floor and gently widens out as it nears the hem. It is in its original supermodel length. At the back it has a curved cut out that leaves the entire back exposed but then he has crossed straps over it for a bit of a peek-a-boo effect. All of the edges are finished in a fringe from the same wool to give the dress that tattered feel that was the theme of the show. Glittering black rhinestone encrusted buttons with the double C embossed onto them close the neck and straps at the back. The construction is immaculate. Excellent condition.

Unlined and slips on to wear. The straps at the back and at the neck button to close. It appears to have been worn very little if at all. It is tagged a Chanel 44. The fabric does have some stretch so should work on a range of sizes.

they are indestructible
Color: Real Bacon&Beef
these chews can definitely stand up to an aggressive chewer. they are extremely hard and will probably last for months, maybe a year or more. but because they are so indestructible, they are the last of the chew toys that my pitbull will go for. i appreciate that he will sometimes tackle one for a while. he prefers the hardest rubber kong-type chew toys. they are not indestructible, but it takes a while for him to wear them down and destroy them. i will probably not buy these indestructible chews again (bought 2-3 packages already), but if you have a big headed dog with lots of really strong teeth and jaws like a vice, they might be right for your pet.

My dog loves them
Color: Real Bacon&Beef, Color: Real Bacon&Beef
Got yesterday, and my dog already did some damage to them; however it isn't enough damage to make the toys unsafe and unusable. So far they have lasted longer than any of her other toys (a full 24 hours already). So when the time comes that she needs some new toys, we are definitely going to be purchasing these again, she loves them.

These are adorable
Color: Coffe Wood, Color: Coffe Wood
This little frozen treat kit is absolutely adorable. I found 3 different colors for my 3 dogs, so I can tell who got theirs stolen. First, the kit itself is a 5 star. The little skull, the brain mold, absolutely adorable. Second, as with a lot of other reviews, what is up with the rope? I had hoped there was a cover for that part of the skull heads when I bought them, then I double checked the reviews and could have had a V8. 🤦🏼‍♀️ the good news is that once you get the rope off you can replace it with something more washable, if you choose. Rope is a 2 to 3 star. Third, my dogs don't like these ones as much, that's why the 3 stars. They've tried out 3 different kinds, with a 4th one coming this week. This was their 3rd favorite. They like the ability to carry it by the rope. Getting to the treat through the hole in the bottom isn't "hard", but the skull is tilted on the side, which is exactly what you want to keep your dog entertained, but two of my dogs didn't want to deal with it unless I held it for them. 😒 Dramatic. Fourth, and finally, I am keeping them. I will probably not put frozen treats in them again, and use it for dry treats or something. So, 3 to 4 stars since I probably won't be able to use the mold for these unless the dogs get used to them. These little skills have more of a rubber texture to them, making them not really hard plastic, and seemingly more durable. The top, so far, is easy to take off, if you don't have wet hands. There's little divets in the top to help you screw and unscrew thw top. Be careful not to screw it on too tight or too loose. I would take it away from my dogs as soon as I notice they are done with their treats, as I would with dirty dishes. It isn't a toy-toy, more like a treat dispenser.

Ruff and rugged
Color: Real Bacon&Beef
Ruff and rugged, my dogs chew through everything we get them, not this so far, holding up well against the aggressive chewers.

Has some flaws but overall not bad
Color: Coffe Wood
I have a 13 pound Jack Russell mix who is an aggressive chewer and gets bored while I am working. I find that a frozen treat situation keeps him busy for 30-45 minutes in his kennel so I can get some quiet time. I've been stuffing the Kong and freezing it, but since I only have one, I have to remember to do it. I liked the option of keeping a bunch of frozen treats to refill the toy at will. I've been eyeballing the Pupsicle brand, but they are really expensive. So for around $10, I figured this was worth a try. Pros: So far seems tough. I unscrew it after he finishes the frozen treat so he can lick out the remains, then I take it away from him. I'm sure if I let him he would eventually chew it to shreds. The design is cute. Although you can't see the fact that the treats are brain shaped once it is in there, it does give me a kick to put a little brain in the skull. So far no issues with screwing the top of the skull on or taking it off The inner cavity is quite big. I filled the molds about 3/4 full and there is still a lot of room in the skull. If you have a bigger dog you can fill the molds to the top (just don't over-fill or it won't fit inside) If you make a big batch of treat filling, you can freeze the rest in those silicone muffin molds, they fit perfectly. Just don't over-fill. With a 3/4 full mold, made with pumpkin, peanut butter, oats, and a little water, it takes my dog about 45 minutes to get all of the treat out. Cons: It's huge and heavy. It's bigger than my dog's skull. But, since he is just trying to eat the brains, it's not like it needs to be lightweight. The rope is a bad idea. First, it gets gross. Second, my dog has chewed halfway through it already. This seems like a hazard for both choking and bacterial contamination. The biggest hole is big enough that my dog's bottom jaw gets a little stuck in there. So far he's always able to get it out, but it is a point against the toy. Overall, its not bad. Not perfect, but serves the function. I'd like to see a slightly smaller, slightly lighter version for dogs under 20 pounds, and lose the rope. If you do buy this, make sure to take it away from your dog once they have cleaned out the treat.
