Mid-Century Modern American of Martinsville Walnut 9-Drawer Dresser or Credenza
Crafted in richly grained walnut, the dresser / credenza features a clean, rectilinear silhouette complemented by a sculptural Brutalist-inspired façade that adds depth and architectural interest. The left side conceals a full-height door that opens to reveal three hidden interior drawers, offering discreet and functional storage. The right side features six spacious drawers, ideal for clothing, linens, or media storage. Subtly tapered modern legs elevate the case, lending visual lightness while remaining true to classic Mid-Century proportions. With its warm walnut finish, thoughtful storage layout, and striking front detailing, this dresser is both highly functional and visually compelling. A superb example of American Mid-Century design, it works beautifully as a bedroom dresser, credenza, or statement storage piece in a refined interior. Condition report : The dresser is in fair vintage condition, consistent with age and use. The top surface shows visible discoloration and areas of color variation, along with surface scratches and minor chips, all of which are visible in the photos. One of the six large drawers does not close smoothly and may benefit from minor adjustment or tuning. Despite these cosmetic imperfections, the piece remains structurally sound and solid throughout. Works great.

Bottle opener works great and is easy to recharge. I removed one star because we are struggling with the included bottle stoppers. We can get them on the bottle but when we go to remove the device (that sucks the air out) often times -the stopper pulls out of the bottle. I really don’t like the stoppers. They seem very cheap. I will need to go on search for better quality stopper.

Worked twice then died within 3 months

The set is nice, looks good, well organized. The features are simple and the main opener looks and feels sturdy. However, roughly half the corks just get torn and don’t extract. Had 3 or less successes with as many failures. We only drink a few bottles a month at most. Now the unit just completely stops almost as quickly as it starts. You can reverse the screw to get it out when it stops and the motor seems fine when not pressed against a bottle/cork. The way it stops almost immediately when fully charged and cool means it isn’t an overheating issue or weak battery issue from what I can tell. Very disappointed and wished I’d returned it the minute I had the first issue. I thought it might just be me not holding it firmly enough or needing to learn some trick, but it was definitely the unit going bad. Buyer beware.
