Fabric : Made of a 100% cotton, non-stretch, lightweight unlined, single-ply, black chambray cloth milled in Japan. This chambray cloth fabric is woven with black coloured yarns dyed with sulfur dyes using the rope dyeing methodin the warp and off-white coloured yarn in the weft which gives it a heather texture and mottled effect due to its plain weave pattern. The black is not a solid, deep black and have some gray or washed out qualities. The color is primarily black. However, chambray fabric have a nuanced appearance due to the weaving techniques used and have a slightly speckled or neppy effect. The fabric has a crisp texture initially, and it is designed to evolve, becoming increasingly comfortable, softer and cozier with wear and repeated washing . And this chambray fabric has a nice wrinkled , natural, breathable, dry-feel texture that contributes to its casual appearance. Additionally, as part of the finishing process, it is pre-washed (also known as one-wash) to minimize shrinkage and to achieve a comfortable texture. It is perfect to wear alone or as a base layer with a outerwear.

Types of garment closure (Placket type) : 6 buttons on front opening. Full-button closure (Front placket, Front button closure) with vertical button holes. Buttons are cat's eye-shaped urea buttons.

Collar Type : Regular collar with collar band for crisper appearance.

Pocket : Classically-styled two chest flap pockets with button closure. The upper pocket corners are bar tacked for extra strength. The flap on the left chest pocket has a hole designed for a pen slot.

Yoke type : Slightly curved back yoke. A shirt yoke is made from two layers of fabric for durability. Reinforced double-layers shoulder yoke for greater durability at at stress points.
