Incredible, witchy black silk velvet 1930s flapper dress! The dress is sleeveless but features a capelet collar that drapes over the shoulders and is cut with a zig zag design. CONDITION: This dress is about 100 years old and so it is not in perfect condition, but for the age and style, it is in very good vintage condition and very wearable! There is a repair on the back skirt near the seam where the fabric tore, and there is a very small spot where the pile wore down on the front left bodice (see Photo 3). There is a hole on the inside of the centre back neck, it is not visible to the outside because the capelet collar covers it. (Photographed)
There is a 1" size hole in the waist seam on the right side. The hem was let down, and needs to be restitched as well.
