This stunning vintage 1940s wedding gown is so elegant. It is crafted of the richest duchesse satin, with eyelet cutouts at the neckline, emphasized by beadwork. All of this work is done by hand which is really remarkable— it was custom made and is completely one-of-a-kind. The princess-cut bodice is fitted, with a basque waist shape, emphasized by piping at the seams. Note the shape of the skirt— a flat panel runs down the center, with pleating only starting at the side waist, which adds fullness while still creating a flattering, nipped-waist look. Functional pearl buttons line the back, and the pointed-cuffs.

Measurements: Fits like a size Small, but please refer to below measurements to be sure
Shoulders: 13.5" between shoulder seams laid flat; true shoulders are more like 15"
Chest: 35"
Waist: 26" laid flat; up to 27" pulled taut
Length: about 54" from shoulder to front hem; back train extends additional 47.5" 

Good vintage condition overall, but it is not in perfect condition, and there are signs of wear commensurate with age, none of which detract from the dress's beauty. There is some scuffing to the fabric in places, and minor discoloration in places. (It's more like a watermark, not a "stain," so it's not noticeable depending on the angle/lighting.) This review is for the 05 Dark Beige color of the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Teint Mattifying Mousse Matte Foundation for Oily Skin and Sensitive Skin. Disclaimer: This review was written by my wife! We ordered "Honey Beige" and received "05 hâlé - Dark beige", which is not one of the colors offered on the product page. Hâlé means sunburned or tanned, and it is for darker skin, not for the darkest skin tones. It’s too dark for me, as I usually use the second lightest color for foundations. I could not believe that, so I tried the foundation with and without moisturizers and foundation bases, but my forehead still ended up in looking like the material with which my purse is made. I don't even have visible wrinkles on my forehead without the foundation, so it ended up making my skin look far worse, rather than better. Not recommended.
