Margaret Kimber made her mark by sourcing fabrics in Kabul where she set up a workshop employing local artisans to craft her designs, and she was one of the first designers to bring Afghan textile work to London's fashion scene during the hippie era. This is by far the most exquisite Afghan dress I have ever came close to and is truly one if my most precious finds to date, she absolutely is a museum worthy piece.

She has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear. Dry clean only. She is in good vintage condition, she has a few minor signs of wear. She has a tiny sealed up pin sized hole to her skirt, and her gold braid trim is slightly worn around her neckline, this is all to be expected with a dress like this, she is still in fantastic condition.

This beauty has minimal signs of vintage wear, but please bear in mind that our pieces are true vintage, they’ve been danced in and they have been lived in, so all of our garments will carry your usual signs of vintage wear.
